Project Description/Overview
Located in the community of Wilmington at the Southeast corner of the Shell Lube facility. This is the second phase of the West Thenard Track Connection Project which was one of several Corridor projects added to the program by ACTA, the Ports and the Railroads in 2001.

The Phase 2 Connection will enable trains from Terminal Island to access the Phase 1 Connection to Watson Yard and serve as an alternative emergency connection to the Corridor.

The Project has been suspended pending recovery of the container traffic volumes.
